photoblog image Autumn Colours

Autumn Colours

I came across this shot when trawling the archives. I took it last year and it is a shot of the leaves and scum on a canal trapped in the corner of one of the locks. Apart from levels and curves this is a straight shot. The Maple leaf was exactly in that spot, honest. Now I look back on it I am not sure whay I did not post it at the time.

Nah. Tell me you're just kidding. There are no such colors in nature. And I thought I got connected with the Fauves through my last post. You beat me here on all fronts. Touche.

Digiphotology: I acknowledge the similarity with your own shot VZ, I can assure you the colours are natural even though I was in one of Englands most industrial towns, that's where the scum comes in!. cheers mate
I love this. I wish I'd taken it.
Oh aye I can vouch for the natural look to this, trampled many an area around manchester this last month that contains this palette, thought it was sweeties from the thumbnail, but hey, I'mm an SOG!
Digiphotology: Are you casting nasturtiums on my honesty and integrity as a photographer? The reason you don't recognise the pallet (sic) it's because this is the Blackburn rather than the Manchester range of hues you SOG. Went to the Cornerhouse today, I shall say no more!
It looks like a skirt I once had. Or a jigsaw puzzle. Or a painting. Or, or...

I love it.
I can't make my mind up about this one. It's on the very edge of oversaturation, but not in a bad way. I think it's fairly groovy.

I really like it and I'd go with groovy, it borders on psychedelia.
