flippin heck Digi! It's all well and good that you are posting this flowery nonsense but for goodness sake stop posting great ones!... I will call you pixeldigi soon! lol

This is gorgeous Digi! mal
Digiphotology: Calm down, calm down Mal! (in a scouse accent) there is nothing wrong with being intouch with your feminine side once in a while. Thank you for your approbation, much appreciated. Pixeldigi sounds good to me or maybe Digipixel?

Beautiful shot - love everything about it, colour, focus, graininess, composition - well done!
Digiphotology: Hi Urban, isn't it great when someone else enjoys an image, thanks a lot.
I totally agree with urban8. Wonderful shot. (:o)

Stunning in all respects, one of the few to get into my Likeys
Digiphotology: Hi Beaker, all these Likeys, where do I go from here? Cheers.

I like this a lot Alistair. It also looks really good in the split second it fades in - it seems to flow in from the outside edges.
Digiphotology: Hi Steve, I had not noticed that effect as I do not use the fade effect, it drives me nuts. However in the interests of science I switched it on and had a look and you are right, the last bits to appear are the sharp petals. I have switched it off again!o
I love it!
Digiphotology: Hi E, so glad you love it, I am delighted it is proving so popular.

That's the longest comment I've seen from mal, which proves he's partial to the "flowery nonsense" smile
Seriously, there are flowers and flowers. This shot just confirms my point it all depends on who's behind the camera.
Digiphotology: Hi VZ, congratulations on your first month on Shutter, you seem to be quite keen on the horticultural stuff yourself. As for Mal, if it's blurry you can bet he will go for it!o

I suppose I could take your comment about the guy behind the camera either way but I will assume you are being kind to me. Thanks a lot.

Ahhh, sublime.
Digiphotology: Hi Lilith. Must be a big pond, I have left mine for nature to take it's course.

Sublime, if you say so, I'll go for that, you are too kind.

"Dodgypixel" ? lol. mal
Digiphotology: That not very nice is it...............
Interesting choice of where to place the sharp focus. Certainly not to speak for pixelpixie, but I think she would have placed it a bit lower, emphasizing the underside of the flower. Although I don't know why I am even mentioning it, really... I'm a great fan of both your work.
Digiphotology: I understand how you feel but the shot was taken straight on so the stem is out of focus only the petals nearest the camera were sharp and I reduced the depth of field even further to create a slightly surreal effect.

I don't know why you mentioned it either we have both had a load of extra typing !~{ But I shall forgive you as you are a fan.
nice shot, and the b&w is perfect
Digiphotology: Thank you you may also enjoy todays post! You have a great site by the way, like the co-operative idea.
I like the grainy effect. Cracking picture!
Digiphotology: Hi Bill, thank you so pleased you enjoyed the pic.
